Bed Bug Pesticide

Many experts debate if bedbugs are capable of transmitting diseases to humans much like how mosquitoes transmit deadly fevers. Many scientists contend that bedbugs transmit bronchial asthma, but it no formal studies were made as of the moment. When a bed bug bites humans, the attack site is usually characterized by itching, swelling, and rashes, where the bites are usually formed in a row of pinhead-sized holes - one for each meal during the night.

The real threat that bedbugs pose is not directly cause by them. Bedbug bites can cause lack of sleep among its victims along with infections from the wounds that they cause. Proper medical care for wounds is usually sufficient to fix this problem though.

The more serious threat, however, is the wanton use of insecticides which can cause more harm than good. A lot of households in the United States, as soon as they see a bug infestation, rush to the local store to purchase artificial chemical pesticides. A majority of these chemicals are declared safe by the government but many homeowners are not sufficiently trained for their use, increasing the risk for accidental ingestion which can be catastrophic for the family's well-being.

Bedbugs are not very innately mobile, but they can easily transfer from one place to another by riding on vectors, which can range from anything like peoples clothes to luggage that gets transported through air travel. Mature bedbugs, being a very hardy type of insect, can survive prolonged periods of hunger so that they can bear the time it takes to transfer locations.

Even though she is glad they do not transmit diseases, Tina still hates the thought of bedbugs in her house. Her favorite ways to get rid of them are diatomaceous earth or cedar oil!
